Excluded:

• Drinks purchased in restaurants or cafés. 

• Day 1 – Pick up from Queenstown and drive to Aoraki/Mt Cook, picnic lunch en route. After a full bike briefing we ride to the airport for a short helicopter flight across the Tasman River. 2 hours more riding before a fabulous dinner. 
• Day 2 – Ride around Lake Pukaki stopping for a picnic lunch with amazing views of the mountains. Cross the Pukaki Flats and continue to the edge of Lake Ohau.  
• Day 3 – Follows the trail around Lake Ohau before heading up and over the Tarnbrae hill to reach a fabulous picnic at Quailburn. Continue gently downhill to finish the day with a soak in Omarama hot tubs. 
• Day 4 – You'll ride past 3 stunning lakes and a braided river as you follow the stunning Waitaki valley.  Enjoy a wine-tasting with an award-winning local producer before dinner at a fabulous lodge.
• Day 5 – Follow the river crossing 3 creeks before morning tea. Then head up past the wonderful Elephant Rocks to catch your first glimpse of the Pacific Ocean. 
• Day 6 – Enjoy the last few kilometres of riding through pasture and botanic gardens to reach the ocean in Oamaru. After a final celebratory lunch at a craft brewery we head for home. We drop you back in Queenstown around 5.30pm.

• It’s possible to take a connecting bus in Oamaru to finish in Christchurch.
